ABOUT ME

My name is Maria Polychroniadou or simply Maria Pol and I am a professional makeup artist.

I started experimenting with makeup in 2009 and later discovered my talent for face and body painting. I’ve been active on social media since 2012, creating content on a daily basis on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

I have been self-taught for most of my active years, until I decided to get my certificates from one of the best makeup schools in Greece, London Makeup Institute. My artistry made me stand out and that quickly turned me from a student to a makeup trainer. I now teach my very own class, Cartoon Makeup, you can find more information on that on its respective tab.

What makes my work unique is the graphic element, the illusions, but mostly, the attention to detail.

You can imagine that a person with a creative mind like myself could not stop at doing just one thing. I am also a cosplayer, a hobby that includes all sorts of artistic skills, such as sewing, prop making and wig styling. I also have a soft spot for painting on all kinds of surfaces, from canvasses to walls, nothing escapes my brush. So if you ever look for me, you will easily find me in my studio, creating.
